IAMSP is pleased to announce that Solara Remote Data Delivery Systems of Winnipeg, Canada and in conjunction with Evolutionary Security Management of Arnprior, Canada has finished its validation of its new configuration package for security teams using the FT2100 handheld device. The new configuration includes pre-set notification messages for security incidents and has also integrated the reporting requirements based on Section F of the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers.
As a result of this, field-deployed and ship-deployed personnel will have a simple, rapid means of sending initial notification messages back to their company headquarters. By using the pre-programmed messaging function within the FT2100, team leaders and companies will have a greater assurance that the message's date, time, location and content are accurate as intended. Similarly, the FT2100's 2-way texting capability will allow company headquarters to communicate quickly with the team leader who has sent the message. This allows the company to ensure that the team leader has the appropriate guidance and support in place quickly and concisely as the Solara system also maintains a log of messages sent.
We are pleased to see this concrete progress being made towards the implementation of the International Code of Conduct and are proud to be part of the community that is bringing the intent of the Code of Conduct to fruition in complex environments. An official release regarding the specific configuration will be made shortly, as will an announcement regarding the upcoming testing of the SOLE system.
