IAMSP Represented on ASIS Technical Committee for the ICoC

We are pleased to announce that IAMSP will be represented in the community of 200 persons selected as the ASIS International Technical Committee for the development of the standards for the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers. Allan McDougall, President of the Association and Director of Evolutionary Security Management (a signatory company) has been selected to participate in this important effort.

IAMSP continues to be involved in this significant effort, including the upcoming efforts to draft the maritime security Appendix to this work as one of a number of industry stakeholders.

Infrastructure Updating Project

IAMSP, as art of its efforts to deliver value to its members and the maritime security industry, will be updating its core infrastructure to a state of the art IT infrastructure backbone over the next three weeks. This infrastructure will allow members to benefit from a range of new services and capabilities that are seen as essential to meeting the needs of our clients.

As part of this transition, we would like to thank our current host, Infracritical, for its efforts in promoting this Association and its work. This new infrastructure project is being made possible due to the efforts and contributions of members within the Association.

IAMSP President Speaking at ASIS Annual Conference (Orlando, FL)

We are pleased to announce that IAMSP will have one its members speaking at the ASIS International Conference being held in Orlando, Florida, USA. Allan McDougall will be presenting on Supply Chain Resilience and the Challenges Associated with Piracy. Allan is also a member of the ASIS International Supply Chain and Transportation Security Committee, a group of experts that assist in the development of guidance and advice across the ASIS International security community of over 38,000 members.

The ASIS International Conference is the flagship conference of ASIS International and is considered to be one of the most significant security conferences worldwide. Each speaking presentation is carefully reviewed by persons selected by ASIS International as part of a peer review process
